Oh, that. That's normal. 1440p has ~78% more pixels than 1080p, so yes, everything will look smaller unless you enable and adjust desktop scaling. It's probably set at 100% on your computer currently.

What version of Windows are you on? I have to know to be able to give the proper instructions.

thank you, i left the scaling the same and just changed text size a little bigger much better now

you know the in game brightness calibration that games do when you first launch them ?, do i need to re calibrate for this display ? hope you know what i mean, normally says something like "adjust until the doom logo is barley visible"

Those usually don't work very well, and tend to actually crush shadow detail when set "properly."

I usually just leave them at default, but it's up to you. It can depend on the monitor capabilities, the monitor's current picture preset (gamma, brightness, contrast), OS-level color profile, etc.

hi mate dunno if this is a silly question but i got my win 10 settings to 1440 p can i still pick 1080 p or 1440p in game or do i need to change win 10 setting to either 1440 or 1080 before changing resolution ? asking this because i can most games 1440p but some i need to change to 1080, should i leave desktop native 1440p and just change in game ?
