Well, I apologize if I ruffled anyone's feathers. I do that sometimes without even trying. Everything is good, and yes we are making progress.

I can't stand 24 FPS/HZ in movies, even though the frames have built in blending.. Ever see a camera pan in a movie faster than a snail? The motion is horrid.

The sad thing is, most people I know either can't see it, or it doesn't bother them. It bugs me to a great extent.

Actually, I don't mind my films at 24fps. I found the Hobbit at 48fps kind of odd to watch. I guess it's more a matter of special effects keeping pace with higher frame rates, though, since my real problem with it was how it laid bare a lot of the effects.

That said, this sort of disproves any argument that the human eye - or at least these human eyes - sees 24fps as fluid.
