FINALLY!!! A G-Sync monitor with ULMB over 120Hz. My opinion, as always, is that they should let us enable it at any refresh rate we want (and use it with G-Sync too). I know it probably wouldn't look as good at 180Hz or 240Hz, but it would be cool to test it.

Based on the photos I've seen, I don't see why 180Hz would look much worse than the bad strobe crosstalk at ~100Hz. If they've been able to make 144Hz have less strobe crosstalk than 100Hz, I think strobe crosstalk that comes back at 180Hz would look approximately the same as at around 100Hz for screen-centre, if those are screen-centre photographs. (strobe crosstalk can vary for top edge, middle of screen, and bottom edge)

Can they lower the overdrive setting for 200hz and 240hz? The inverse ghosting looks EXTREMELY bad. They said it was on medium or normal or something. The purple on that UFO ghost reminds me of the older Benq monitors because they allowed undocumented options to tweak the overdrive more than 3 levels ("OD gain" in the realtek chip service menu)

No test at 200Hz ULMB or it doesn't support that? Which would be strange/bad decision as if 100Hz ULMB is possible 200Hz should as well you'd think. 200Hz ULMB would probably be a sweetspot from motion blur vs overdrive artifacts point of view.

Also I wonder at which refresh rate the contrast ratio is measured, I bet it does have an impact running as high as 240Hz and especially how much of a drop from the common 144Hz would be a vital test. If it drops from 950~1000:1 to 770:1 going from 144Hz to 240Hz that would still be a mighty good result and still a "useable" contrast ratio as opposed to ASUS PG248Q going from like 1000:1'ish to 550:1 when overclocking it from 144Hz to 180Hz rendering anything above 160Hz a moot selling point for that monitor.

I hope at least some reviewer is thinking logically enough to get this.

I have XL2540 with same 240Hz native panel and PG248Q. Difference in colors are huge. I'm sure there is no difference (or it's very tiny) at 144Hz or 240Hz. There is also review of monitor with same 240Hz panel http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/aoc ... g251fz.htm
