On my Acer Predator x27u oled freesync premium monitor it says freesync premium is off, even though g-sync is enabled and I guess working properly, according to the G-sync pendulum demo. I say I guess because I'm able to tick the g-sync option in the demo when I turn everything on. When I turn off freesync premium on the monitor and disable gsync via nvidia control panel, it won't let me tick the g-sync box in the G-sync pendulum demo.
If g-sync is working properly, is it normal for my monitor to say freesync is off on its OSD?
Is there another verification process to check if g-sync is working properly with my freeysnc premium monitor?

Often times I find the answer after asking the question, which I guess is part of the process. Well, after writing this thread, I searched and found that link above. That article showed me how to use the gsync indicator, which is under the display option.

Acer online tech support wanted me to return it, but should I really if G-sync says it's working via software?
