75hz?!? Ultrawide 21:9 freesync monitor [LG 34UM67]

Talk about AMD's FreeSync and VESA AdaptiveSync, which are variable refresh rate technologies. They also eliminate stutters, and eliminate tearing. List of FreeSync Monitors.

i think you have no idea what i'm talking about and that you just think i'm one of those people who hate on wide aspect ratio displays because of "vertical space" or something.

fact is, i don't hate 21:9, i don't like 16:9, i don't like 16:10 or 4:3, i don't even care about aspect ratio at all for computer monitors. as long as i have reasonable vertical and horizontal size relative to my viewing distance, ive nothing to complain about. and anything additional, whether in the horizontal or vertical direction would be an improvement.

I imagine we will see some 120hz or 144hz 21:9 monitors in the near future. I'd like to see a freesync ultrawide 144hz. =D

My LG 25" ultrawide easily overclocked to 70hz. I'm just using the dvi input. Perhaps it could go higher with a displayport cable.

SWEET JEBUS!!

If the 34UM67 is stock 75hz... i dont need anything more. IM SOLD!

34"?
21:9?
IPS?
Freesync?
HIGHER THAN 60hz?

U for real, Universe? This is the BEST IN SLOT GAMING MONITOR till OLEDs are massed up.
That's what I thought, but it turns out that Freesync is a bit of a mess as it introduces severe ghosting, not to mention that the range in which it's active is really low: http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Displays/A ... -FreeSync-

Unfortunately that's not an option for me as it won't have HDMI most likely and I also use the monitor to play on console. That monitor will also be extremely expensive, probably in the range of $1000+...

I'm kinda hoping LG would make a revision to fix ghosting and limited range, because there are many enthusiasts who were interested in this model before reading that review.

I know, but still... remember how the market looked exactly a year back ... the best being a 120hz 1080p TN,,, and look at all the cool shit we are getting now. Its fucking magical and I am VERY grateful for it!

The acer xr341ck seems as a "best in slot" monitor... so soon, to have a monitor available where you dont have to choose. I doubt it will reach 1k$ tbh.
Anyway, there are rumors that right after its release there will be a lower res version coming, im predicting it will cost 500-600$ max.
