Getting more CPU performance for overwatch

Post by open » 22 Aug 2017, 18:34

I thought I'd share this trick with you guys. If you are bottlenecked by your cpu and want higher fps or maybe you want to turn on "reduce buffering" for input lag reduction and not lose any fps. The main graphics setting turns on and off many cpu intensive things like physics objects. You can turn that to low and turn back up whatever other graphics settings you want to high or whatever you had them on. You wont have as many physics objects in spawn and such but your cpu will be able to compute frames easier.

Have fun. I have a mobile i7 6700hq at 3.1ghz and I rarely go under 200 fps.
