Yes, it's probably the best approach if your fps are so low.

I was just about to ask if it's worth waiting on the flagship Asus ROG P248QP w/ULMB 2 (24.1" 1080p540hz E-TN panel) instead of the Zowie XL2566K (24.5" 1080p360hz) w/DyAc+ but I made an impulse purchase and Memory Express already shipped my XL2566K. This is purely for competitive ranked FPS (CS/Val/Apex/CoD/Halo).I can return it in store locally before opening it though (Memory Express), what do you guys think? My main PC rig is an i9-13900KS OC/4090 OC/96 GB DDR5-6400.

My main driver right now (mostly for productivity and immersive gaming) is a 42" 4k138hz 16:9 OLED (Asus ROG PG42UQ, spent $2k CAD on it and it still has awful HDR color gamut/tone mapping even with the latest V040 firmware update though). It's a great monitor otherwise for daily use. For comp FPS multiplayer gaming I'm obviously forced with downscaling the resolution to 2560x1440p in-game from it's native 3840x2160p resolution which produces a centered 27" image if "No Scaling via GPU" is selected via Nvidia CP - which introduces additional input lag I believe so it's not ideal. If I select 1920x1080p the centered image becomes 23" which is a bit too small for me. Just to be sure, it's definitely confirmed that using a non native res in game even in full screen exclusive mode introduces additional input lag/latency correct?

Previously I had a 38" 3840x1600p 21:9 Ultrawide (AW3821DW) and really loved it for my work/productivity but they AW/Dell didn't make a QD-OLED version of that, only the smaller 34" AW34 everyone and their mother loves on the internet. I tried it but there's no going back to a smaller 34" 1440p UW after getting used to the extra vertical real estate from a 38" 1600p UW.

I guess I should have made a separate thread in hindsight, my bad.

I noticed a problem with my monitor: if I go to color -> color temperature -> user define and put Blue on 100, in videos where the sky can be seen (or anything blue actually) there are some weird pixelated artifacts showing. Seems to affect wallpaper as well, and even games. Do you also have that problem or is that a problem with my unit only?

I hope this dont come off as a lazy question but I was wondering If someone could point me in the right direction in setting up CRU for a 180 fps 1728 x 1080 resolution on the Zowie XL2566K . Should I just use the ToastyX CRU Vertical Total Calculator for Quick Frame Transport (QFT) as in viewtopic.php?t=10402 and call it a day? I am a noob to CRU. If the ToastyX CRU Vertical Total Calculator for Quick Frame Transport (QFT) is not the answer; can someone please give me a example of the data I can use when I put the timing on Manual for a 180 fps 1728 x 1080 resolution?

U play with dyac? If u no use dyac, play on 360 hz with 180 fps cap, and use custom res in nvcp, i play apex on 180 fps cap and use 1728 in nvcp + nvcp sharpness, its very good, i no use dyac, u no did lower hz if u no use dyac, u can use fps cap on 360 hz.

Can you share your nvcp sharpness settings for apex? I wonder how to set it properly

I can't find perfect parameters, Apex feels slightly stuttery and not smooth enough on this screen, even in 240FPS lock on Rivatuner.

The DyAc even with good parameters is not perfect either as people claim, very often I see crosstalk in Apex Legends, even when I have no FPS drop, so I don't understand...

Can anyone share their settings? ( strobing, no strobing, G-sync? )

Really on Apex Legends the strobing feels so bad, I don't understand the hype around it, I just hope it was me who missed something activated.

I seem to have seen you somewhere say that you send back the Zowie and took Oled 240hz, right?
