1440p 144hz vs 1080p 360hz

Hello guys, I'd like to hear an advice from someone who knows more than me.
I recently updated my pc, I found a good condition used 4090. I mostly play FPS shooter, so I'd like as little motionblur and inputlag as possible.

I want to get a new monitor, but I can't decide between an AW2523HF, I found for 350 euro (good deal for Europe), or to look for some 1440p monitor. I'm not sure if I'm going to like the 27 inches since it looks too big for me.

Whether you win or lose is another story, but 1440p 240hz is definitely more fun (and I play better on 1440p 240hz anyway). If you got the cash then the LG 27" OLED would probably be worth trying if you can return it if text fringing or eye strain is an issue with the monitor. Then there's numerous other 1440p 240hz monitors that, just like their 1080p counterparts, people hate for one reason or another.

Or to state things another way, I can play some roguelite 1st person FPS game like Deadlink on a 1080p 144hz panel and be mildly amused then wander off to go do something else, but playing it on a fast 1440p 240hz panel will keep you playing the game for hours on end instead.

I'm wondering whether I should buy their old screen again, or should I spend a little more money to buy a new one. Can you recommend a place that sells monitors at a good price? Thanks advance.
