XL2420Z availability?
Re: XL2420Z availability?
Well this is disheartening. I ordered this over the weekend, and NOW I find this thread. Mine should be here Thursday (2/13) I really hope it doesn't have the bug.

Can you send me a PM of your serial number? I'm going to keep an eye out for the lowest-numbered serial number that contains the fixed firmware.mars wrote:My mfg date is January 2014.

So we have to wait March+ to order it ?
In Europe the only way to order it at the moment its on the BenQ EU Store. Chief Blur Buster do you know if the stock of BenQ EU Store is already bug-free or not ?

The information I do have, is that the factory manufacture with fixed firmwares are finally shipping this month, but stores might have old stock. I'll try my best to get information on what version has it all fixed.
A utility is going to be released by Blur Busters to allow adjustment of the persistence and strobe timing of the BENQ Z-series monitors (requires new firmware).

Nah, it does the usual 100, 120, 144. Its not *lightboost* btw, but benQ's motion reduction. ToastyX did manage to insert a few extra refresh rates when I ran setup, but the strobelight util hasn't worked yet.jeffk wrote:Alright, I think i ll wait a while before ordering.

Ok, and so the benQ's motion reduction (aka 2D lightboost ) is avaible at 144hz ?TheRulesLawyer wrote:Nah, it does the usual 100, 120, 144. Its not *lightboost* btw, but benQ's motion reduction.
