Monitor for CAD work

I'm an engineer that spends all of my time at work using a CAD software suite. I am currently using two 1280x1024 dell monitors. Does anyone else here do a lot of CAD work, and if so, what is your preferred setup? I'm thinking I'd prefer a 21:9 primary monitor with the two current monitors as extras on the sides.
