help me get a new, cheap and good monitor for hardcore gamer

Post by cwyt » 08 May 2015, 10:58

Hello, I just signed up for this forum, thank god for linustechtips ( if im not mistaken). So my problem is my old monitor, a Philips 220SW Plus, got burnt few days ago. Really good monitor, and old as well. I decided to buy a new one. Considering my budget (around 100 euros) I decided to buy something really cheap and rushed in like a total retard, ending up with a Benq GW2255. I don't know much about monitors but as far as I've read on the internet, it has a very noticeable motion blur/ghosting or whatever (i like to describe it as some sort of frame skipping, as that is the feeling it gives me). Im really unsatisfied with this monitor and i was hoping if someone could help me buy a new good one with higer response time (as far as i know that its the problem im facing right now, as this benq has 6 ms GtG). I'm looking forward to returning my product. My budget will be 145 euros. You can use http://www.cel.ro (the site where i purchased my monitor from) to check if the monitor you found is available in my country (Romania). Thank you.

EDIT: I've found this one http://www.cel.ro/monitoare-lcd-led/mon ... y-black-l/
Is it as good as it looks (2 ms response time).
