Monitor Display Help

I have:
MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814127902

and

LG LGE-IPS234W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6824005382

My question is: What is the best selection/solution to display my games on this monitor? I am confused about dvi-dvi or dvi-display port solutions.

this monitor is the last thing I plan on upgrading and I am wondering if there is an adapter that would help me get the best display until I get the Acer Predator.
