PG279Q & ULMB - backlight shuts off exiting OSD

Post by richnewman » 11 Feb 2016, 21:18

I just got my PG279Q and I've had a 980 Ti since it's release.

When turning on ULMB, the screen shuts off when exiting the OSD. Comes back on when bringing it up. While the OSD is on, everything seems to run fine.

This monitor so far is otherwise great, fairly low IPS glow, no dead or stuck pixels.

Anyone experience this? Is this monitor a lost cause?

I'm having similar behavior. Did you find a solution?
