What version is the firmware on the monitor?
There was a bug with V002 firmware regarding when Low Blue light was actually available and then not available (I don't remember for sure, but LBL was available in standard mode, but if you SAVED standard mode to a gaming preset 1-3 (e.g. the S-switch profiles) and then recalled the profile, LBL would be disabled without switching back to standard mode. If you are using V002, PLEASE get it updated to V4 ASAP (Call / email Benq support as they can do it for you, unless you are brave enough to flash the firmware with Linux/Ubuntu yourself, or if you want to buy a yoycart Mstar ISP programmer (about ~$60) and upgrade it with that same device Benq uses in their own factories). All 002 firmware monitors SHOULD be upgraded because:

1) Displayport bug is fixed and now the displayport connection is usable (CRITICAL BUG. V002 displayport will cause link errors and only work at 60hz and limited resolutions). Fixed in V004, NOT V003.
2) Extra but undocumented AMA setting becomes available if you enable blur reduction and then set AMA to high afterwards.
added in V003.
3) Low blue light retains activation status if you save it into a gamer 1-3 preset and then recall it (fixed in V3).

Black Equalizer is ONLY available in the FPS, RTS, and one or two other modes. Black equalizer dynamically changes the gamma of certain dark shades, which means any mode in which the "Gamma 1-5" OSD settings are available, will not work at the same time as black equalizer, so black equalizer will be disabled. In modes where BEQ is enabled and available, the Gamma 1-5 settings will be disabled.

I'm in Los Angeles area. It is impossible for me to lend my Mstar ISP device to anyone as I am not in a stable life situation (at this time I am homeless, but with internet access).

You can buy the device yourself.

The software is on the main blur busters webpage under "How to or Do it yourself V2" under Benq section.

If you want to take risks with possible upgrade failures, or depending on your motherboard and if you have a LEGACY BIOS and NOT a UEFI BIOS, having the DVI EDID Get corrupted on a successful flash, you can upgrade it with Linux through Ubuntu, without any extra hardware, but this is *BEST* DONE with a LEGACY (old type) motherboard BIOS, and a VGA port (e.g. a laptop with a VGA connection). The DVI port + Legacy BIOS can and has worked for people, but this depends on the video card (and maybe even motherboard) you re using.

DVI+ UEFI Bios? you're on your own.
VGA+UEFI Bios? Does anything with a UEFI Bios even have a VGA port?

my step by step flash instructions are on page 21 here:

If you really want V4, your best option is to buy the mstar device.

Picture advanced ->Display mode (Either that or Picture mode).
You have to go through each one 1 at a time.

If you ever get a displayport cable in the future, you MUST update to V4.
You're also missing AMA improvements I posted in the sticky on the general section.

What is AMA ? should I set it to premium ?

You're on V2 firmware, so always keep it on high
You can't do anything to make it better unless you update.
