Is there any blur reduction options at OSD (BenQ Blur Reduction or Dynamic Accuracy) or no any at all?
Which AMA options are available?

Photos are as accurate as I could get them without having the Chief's pursuit cam setup =P

No motion blur reduction what so ever on the XL2540. AMA options are off, high and premium. They act exactly the same as previous models.

In contrast, the XL2735 has Dynamic Accuracy that is permanently on.

You can turn off Dynamic Accuracy. It's just benq blur reduction renamed.
It's in the Service Menu.

Awesome. Had a quick look through the settings and didn't see an option to turn it off. Will do a service menu check over the weekend when we do the full comparison.

Still love my XL2420G for the single strobe. Will ask the Zowie rep directly if single strobe is something that can be added.

It's a contact for my work. Marketing. I'll press the issue but in the end marketing teams can only get so far . I'll be doing a 3 way comparison with the XL2735, XL2540 and my trusty old XL2420G to be published next week. Right now you can probably tell what I'm favouring most.

Yeh the site I write for is owned by Mwave. Mwave partnered with Zowie at PAX Aus so I jokingly asked the lead editor to request a review sample of the new 240Hz monitor. Got a straight yes and never questioned it afterward.

Ehi, i have a question.
Are the 240 hz really native? Or does the monitor use gpu scaling to achieve 240 hz? For instance every 144 hz benq monitor is a 120 hz panel that can reach 144 hz if using gpu scaling (with nvidia graphic cards, dont know with ati). If you are using windows 7, the easiest way to check that is to set the monitor to 240 hz and then check if you can use the display scaling features. So if you can select those options



while using 240 hz, it means the 240 are really native, if they are all blacked out it means you are using gpu scaling.

If you are using 8/8.1/10 i dont know how to check that, since the display scaling should be gone and you should use cru Maybe you could check under the system/information menu in the monitor osd, the value of OptimumResolution. On my 144hz it says 1920x1080@120hz, because the 144 are gpu scaled (the CurrentResolution is 1920x1080@144hz).

I already asked benq if the monitor is really 240 hz and if you can use the scaling options while using 240 hz and they told me yes. But a double-check before spending 500€ is always good

Gonna wait for a 240Hz monitor with blur reduction option
I can live with 1 additional frame of input lag. At 240Hz it's only about 4ms of additional input lag. IMHO the benefit of having much less blur will greatly outweight the slight increase in input lag, at least in games when you have to make swift camera rotation.
