OD-Gain?
Sorry if that is a stupid question but I have nowhere seen this in service menu, and additionally: is that ama low tweak beneficial over high/premium on this monitor, too??

It is in the factory menu: keep the 3rd and 4th button pushed while powering on the monitor. When the monitor is on, use the 5th button to toggle on/off the factory menu. Unfortunately, parameter changes in this menu don't survive power-cycling the monitor or even just switching the refresh rate.

I'm sorry I got the 2540, so the post I quoted doesn't apply to this model in the first place, right?
(As I have not found any OD-GAIN setting in the factory menu.
However... as you have that monitor, too... is the AMA low tweak of any benefit?
And what is with the low contrast tweak in regards to ghosting?
Did you test any of that?
As I am lucky to have V2 FW model, what would you recommend as intensity value (for gaming like quake e.g very fast movements).
Thanks in advance!!

Sorry for off topic, but since the XL2735 uses the exact same scaler as the XL2540 and has the exact same DP/HDMI specification, would freesync also work on the XL2735 by editing the freesync range in ToastyX CRU?
Or does the XL2540 suddenly get an "Adaptive sync" on/off OSD Option that wasn't previously there, and thus it won't work on the XL2735?

Dear all,
I bought this monitor 2 weeks ago and I am undecided if return it and change for a 27” 144hz IPS (because the price is almost the same).
I went from an “old” 120Hz Asus VG236H and, sincerely, I don’t see too much improvement from.
Someone had both technology and he can advise me?

To see noticeable motion improvement over your VG236H, you really need to do either:
(1) Run framerates close to 240fps to see benefits of 240Hz.
(2) Running with a good gaming mouse. Make sure you see
http://www.blurbusters.com/mouse-guide .... Your mouse can be the motion fluidity weak link on high-refresh-rate monitors.
(3) If you cannot run 240fps, then enable the blur reduction feature on your monitor at a refresh rate that you can run full framerates at (e.g. 120fps @ 120Hz). Test using

Dear Chief thanks for your answer.
1. I don't know but... who can ? (cs:go and quake live apart)
2. I have a Logitech G9X with 1000Hz polling rate already setted
3. Where is this funcion ?
(edit: I found it) ... (I run 120/130 fps in Overwatch)
Anyway I have never seen how work an IPS 144hz in real game action with my eyes, compared to TN.
So do you think this new 240hz TN monitors really much more fast, less blurried and competitive for FPS gaming of them?
If Benq-Zowie offers only TN I think there's a reason.....
thank you again
F.

Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of enabling ULMB from the hidden service menu? Someone has said it works and someone has said its bugged.
