Sorry I know I asked you guys before, but can one of you please contact Benq and ask them to include the SINGLE STROBE override for 60hz refreshrate that they removed from the service menu (after the Mstar scaler based blur reduction models?), for the XL2540 and XL2735 ?

Anyone tried to measure the input lag difference with blur mode on and off ?

Did not measure it but it does not feel any different to regular 240hz. I did not like the added latency ulmb added on my xb270hu but that was forced to run at 100hz from 144hz. 240hz and bbr 240hz probably has a input lag difference of 2-3 ms or something I think in the middle of the screen. Because the scanout itself takes 4ms. Pulse of light takes a variable amount of time depending on the settings for bbr so depending on how long that takes you have your input lag.

Hey, I'm looking at buying this monitor to replace my VG248QE which I use with Strobelight at 10% brightness for Overwatch, what kind of improvements will I see? I have no problems reaching 240 fps, but I want to know that the upgrade justifies the actual cost of the monitor itself before committing.

Does the Freesync works by the way, and anyone tried to check for max hz range if it does ? I haven't found any review site talking about freesync, and benq seems to hide it too, I don't have an AMD card to test myself :(

Intensity doesn't make anything clearer. Changing it while http://testufo.com/#test=photo&photo=al ... &height=-1 does change only brightness and nothing more. May be it's in alpha/beta version in this monitor? F/W Version: V001 20160808
Does changing "Intensity" makes motion clearer for you?

I did not really adjust the setting at all before but indeed it does not make the motion clearer. I think it literally only changes the intensity of the light also have the same firmware. So that setting should not alter input latency in this model btw.

Intensity does NOT make the motion clearer at all?
That seems like a bug...

what persistence setting is it using then?
What's it like at intensity 1 and intensity 25?

does the Area field work?

Yes, Intensity does NOT make the motion clearer at all. 10 & 10 are default values for "Intensity" & "Area". I use these values.
Picture is very bright at Intensity 25 (like brightness 100%) and very dark at value 1 (like brightness 10%). Area just moves cross talk up and down. (values from 1 to 100)
I doesn't notice any input lag and cross talk in game and that's great. I can't say does Blur Reduction help me in game or doesn't.

EDIT: Also AMA changing is possible at OSD while Blur Reduction is ON. But it only makes inverse ghosting less or more.
If I set even custom timings for 59/60/61Hz Blur Reduction turns OFF.

If this is true it sounds like it they might of screwed up and made it change brightness value instead of persistence.

The best way to test this would be to film the screen in BBR mode and change the Intensity to see if the 'scanlines' change speeds in the film.
