I did only was remove Blur Reduction,
Intensity: 10
Area: 10

What else should I configure to be smooth, And little input lag

I got this monitor and I am playing with 240Hz Blur Reduction, Area at 100 and Intensity at 20.

What do I need to do to gain the best performance for competitive gaming (CS:GO)?
Should I use VT Tweak? If so, how exactly.
My monitor has Firmware v1 as far as I have seen.

Would be glad to hear the best solution.

It depends on your priorities.

Quality of blur reduction (~1ms more lag) or getting minimum possible blur reduction lag?

Reduced input lag (especially during strobing) favours higher refresh rates, but if you dislike strobe crosstalk and want to eliminate most of it while adding only ~1ms lag -- then you can have less double-image effects when running at a somewhat lower refresh rate such as 180Hz. See instructions at www.blurbusters.com/crosstalk -- "182 Hz" section.

Strobe crosstalk is the double-image effect at the top/bottom edges of screen, as can be tested using http://www.testufo.com/crosstalk

So I made a custom resolution via CRU, the one which is shown in the crosstalk section (1920x1080). I am using 1024x768 or 1280x960, do I need to make new resolutions again in CRU or does it work?
Another question, when I am using the Blur Busters Strobe utility. Instead of getting clearer motion, my monitor goes way brighter. If I go to brighter, it gets darker. Is this because of the Firmware version 1?

I get centered screen with this. Probably need to make a new resolution in CRU, can someone help? Can I reach maybe more Hz with lower resolution?

Somehow it shows me the right Hz, even on 1024 without changing anything. It is even full stretched now. Everything correct now?

just played, feels ten times better now, huge difference.

There is a bug in Strobe Utility on the XL2540 -- the adjustment for Persistence is in the opposite order. So if you want clearer motion, slide in the opposite direction.

A newer version of Strobe Utility will fix this!

Again me.
I can't get 1280x960 to work in FULL SCREEN on 182Hz. Either it is centered (got blackbars everywhere) or I get fullscreen and it gets automatically to 144Hz.
Any solution to this?

What's your ToastyX CRU settings for this?

Can you load ToastyX and find what timings the 1280x960 144Hz setting is?

By having both screenshot #1 and 2, I may be able to deduce what timing changes might be needed for full-screen 1280x960 182Hz (if it is possible). It is wholly possible that the GPU is doing GPU scaling on one of the two, and a timing change is needed to bypass GPU scaling.

I didn't do any settings for that, just the 1920x1080 which can be found on the site on the FAQ or how-to.

1024x768 works fine with 182Hz but 1280x960 does not.

can someone tell me if "Flicker Free" is turned off when activating MR for the monitor? thx!
