I have 3 1080p Asus monitors and one 4k sceptre TV. I get microstuttering ALL THE TIME. Every ~10 seconds, all graphics stop for less than a fraction of a second and then continue. My only remedy is to remove the tv from the graphics card. This is a new gtx 1080 rog strix running on a i7 3930k system. I am fairly certain I am good hardware wise. As soon as a I pull the tv from the card, the issue ceases. Now you can probably name near about just anything and I have tried it, OC the monitors, OC the card, turn MEMC on/off on the tv, separated the HDMI cable from the tvs AC cable, used Timer Tool to adjust yadda yadda yadda. Every little thing does nothing at all.
I am grasping at straws here now. Maybe you guys have some ideas to throw at me.

idea is name your os.
"all graphics stop" - while in game? while watching video? even at os cursor stutters? only 1 monitor & tv gives microstuttering?

Does this happen when only the TV is plugged in?

So I just did another test since you made me think of trying different combinations. I hadn't gone this far yet.Sparky wrote:I mean when it is JUST the TV and nothing else.uvbeenzaned wrote:Yes, only when TV is plugged in.Sparky wrote:Does this happen when only the TV is plugged in?
- All monitors plus tv: stuttering
- All monitors no tv: no stuttering
- 2 monitors plus tv: seems to stutter occasionally maybe but not that much
- 1 monitor plus tv: no stuttering
This surely can't be a PCIe bandwidth issue. This was happening with my old R9 290x when I had it. Something else must be going on.
