Benq xl2411z cant get higher than 60hz even with DVI D Help!

Hi I Have Benq xl2411z monitor and idk why i cant use it on 100,120 or 144hz i can only use on in 60hz it keep saying incorrect cable please use the DVI D cable that came with your monitor!
My GPU is GTX 960
PLZ Help

Try another DVI port on your graphics card.

What kind 960 is it? Can you post a link?
And btw, ARE you using the DVI cable that came with the monitor?

DVI-D is something different than DL-DVI.
You need a DL-DVI cable. DVI-D just means it's digital, as opposed to DVI-A, which is analog, or DVI-I which is both. All of these can be dual link (DL) or single link (SL). You need a DL-DVI cable. (When you buy it, it must say "Dual Link".)
