If you change vertical total do you have to change ingame resolution in games like cs go?

[Custom Resolution Utility question]

No --

-- As long as you're using the specific resolution and specific refresh rate that you modified the Vertical Total for. Make sure that resolution and refresh is selected.

Vertical Totals are memorized per resolution & refresh rate. e.g. if you modified Vertical Total in a Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) for 1920x1080 120Hz, it doesn't modify 1280x1024 120Hz nor it modify 1920x1080 100Hz. So when you're in the game, make sure it's running 1920x1080 120Hz.
