Benq XL2430z trails

hello! i just purcahed the benq xl2430z monitor and was changing some of the picture settings. When i changed the picture setting to standard i noticed i had overshoot trails in front of my cursor instead of behind (when moving it right). I was wondering if anyone has a similar issue. Thanks!

As far as I know, this only happens when blur reduction is active (and is a widespread issue with most blur reduction methods on LCD monitors.) If you disable blur reduction mode, it shouldn't happen.

Or are we talking about overdrive?

LCD Overdrive Artifacts
They both can affect mouse arrow pointer with trailahead and/or trailbehind effects. Albiet differently on different monitors. Try turning on blur reduction (DyAc) ON/OFF.
Just making sure we're 100% clear what kind of artifacts we're looking at.

It's actually something not depicted on any of those pages. I had this issue once a while ago with ULMB, but I forgot how I got it. I am not able to reproduce it again...
It's basically strobe crosstalk in reverse. Normally, the very faint copy of the moving object is trailing behind. In this instance, a faint copy is seen in FRONT of the moving object. I found it a bit strange. As I was playing around with settings and whatnot, I only saw it once. And it sound exactly like what the OP is experiencing. You move your mouse to the right, and a very faint copy of the mouse cursor is visible to the right of the cursor, even though that's the direction it's moving.
