Is the 27inch Acer 1080P Predator XB272 the best 240Hz out?

Is the 27 inch Acer 1080P Predator XB272 the best 240 Hz out there? https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/p ... .HX2EE.005 i have a Geforce 1070 GPU.

I know this site is working on some 240Hz reviews but i just got some taxreturns and it's burning in my pocket! The only review i could find was [144 Hz Monitor's] acer-predator-xb272-preview

Which one you think is better and why? You think the 27 inch factor is a good thing?

I also looked at the review of Rocket Jump Ninja of the BenQ Zowie XL2546 (240Hz monitor with DyAc) but hes afraid to give his opinion on 1440p 144Hz/165Hz vs 1080P 240Hz. (In other 240Hz video's also) plus he does not know anything about 27 inch 1080P . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52Fkf4JusP0

Any answer is much appreciated!!

There is only '1' current panel for 27" and 24" at 240hz, so if you get a monitor that's rated for 240hz it's probably going to be one of these two panels, and because you're getting a G-Sync chip, you can almost guarantee that the performance is going to be the same as the other 240hz G-Syncs.

So yea, it's fine, but so are the other ones.

Thank you for the answer! I see you got one. Can u tell me if u have 0 % regret or that late at night when the demons come u think about of not getting a 1440p 144Hz 1ms TN panel 27 inch?

I am a little stuck between the 27 Inch 1080P 240Hz 1 ms TN Panel and the 27 inch 1440P 144Hz 1ms TN Panel so i need to know !:D.

I have 0 regret because i knew what i was getting.

If you don't need/want 240hz it's defiantly not required. I would of bought a 720p 300hz+ monitor if it existed.

Given Overwatch is my primary game I have no regrets about getting the 27-inch Acer at 240hz to replace the 1440 Asus at 165hz as my primary monitor, and I would absolutely not go for 720 at 300hz. There's 480hz at 540 if you want to put your money where your mouth is. Beware, however, that there's a decent chance you'll get some buzzing from the area where the power light is if you go with the Acer monitor I'm referring to.
