Welcome to Blur Busters Forums!

Post by Chief Blur Buster » 17 Dec 2013, 12:46

Welcome!

We've created these discussion forums on popular demand.

One year ago, Blur Busters started closely covering LightBoost, a strobe backlight that eliminated motion blur, bringing CRT motion quality to LCDs. The rest was history.

What topics? ... The discussion forums covers anything related to high-end gaming monitors, for motion blur reduction and/or high refresh rates. This includes LightBoost, EIZO Turbo240, NVIDIA G-SYNC, BENQ Blur Reduction, monitor overclocking, HDTV overclocking, overclocked 1440p, QNIX QX2710, Overlord Computer Tempest (X270OC), and any monitors that's a step above a mere 60Hz. And we even cover 60Hz if it has something unusual (e.g. strobe backlight, OLED, 4K, etc). We'll create new topics as needed (e.g. Offtopic, Graphics Cards) based on forum traffic, however any discussion of technology necessary for displays (e.g. computers and graphics cards) are also very welcome too, in the General forum!

Are There Rules? ... Yes, reasonable forum rules do apply (no Nigera scams, no Russlan Brides, no posts that Net Nanny blocks). I'm still creating forum rules, however, friendly display reviewers and friendly monitor reviewers from other sites are welcome to introduce themselves! -- The rules are displayed when you register for the forums; and the rules may need to be refined to keep a reasonable balance in the Blur Busters flavour. We are a new forum after all -- having launched one year after the LightBoost discovery!

To support our Forums, we encourage you to post! No question is too small or silly to ask; we've all been newbies at one time.

Sincerely,
Mark Rejhon
