1080P vs 1440P?
1080P vs 1440P?
I sent my VX2758-2KP-MHD monitor to technical service. The decision was made to replace it with a new device. Recommended model is VX2705-2KP-MHD. I'm currently using the VX2458-C-MHD temporarily. This monitor is 1080P and VA panel. I have a hard time seeing the opponent while playing PUBG, the brightness is also relatively low. Do you think it's because it's a VA panel or is it because it's 1080P? I also have a refund option and I might get a 1080P IPS monitor. My video card is 3060 ti and my processor is 10700K. I want to switch to 1080P to get as high FPS as possible, but I'm afraid of not being able to see my enemies comfortably, like on a 1440P IPS panel. Say what? How does 1080P IPS feel about it? Or would you recommend another model 1440P IPS? Thank you.

Fps is far more important, so go with better fps monitor, 1080 will do just fine

Re: 1080P vs 1440P?
I have both 1080p 240 Hz TN and 1440p 144 Hz IPS. I "downgraded" from the 1440p monitor to the 1080p monitor. The initial switch was very noticeable in terms of the lower resolution. I am completely used to it now. The increased FPS is worth it for me. Now I am looking at getting the new 390 Hz 1080p monitor.

1080 panels are better. CRT's are the best for motion clarity. If you want an LCD, i'd only recommend the ASUS VG279QM (280hz) as of right now. I haven't seen any real measurements for the 390hz yet but you aren't going to be pushing 390 fps on pubg lmfao.srcn90 wrote: ↑09 Sep 2021, 10:10I sent my VX2758-2KP-MHD monitor to technical service. Thank you all guys. I think I will go with 1080p. What do you suggest for 1080p? Isn't 27" big for 1080p?
Re: 1080P vs 1440P?
I have been using Asus vg279qm for the year(1080, 240hz, 27), but several months ago switched to Acer xv272ux (2k, 27, 240hz panel) and started to play better with this panel on Faceit and got 10 level, this panel has TN-clarity and very sharp image also no input lag. (also twice pricy than vg279qm )

You went from 27" to 24". Things are going to be more difficult to spot since everything is smaller.
