awesome site. Thank you.
I bought me a toy 65" LG C9 OLED65C9AUA or PUA, for my 50th. I have an Xbox One X. the C9/E9 offers VRR over HDMI as part of HDMI 2.1 standard, and "G-Sync Compatible" over HDMI for RTX 20 series and GTX 1600 series GPU. The NVidia thing is still in Beta Drivers 440.52 but folks have it working.
I wanted to create this thread because I have the C9 and Xbox. Resolution Options are readily 1080p 1440p and 4K, with 120hz for 1440p.
The TV offers a VRR range at 4K 40-60hz and 1440p range of 40-120hz. 1080p 40-120hz.
My observations playing between 4k 60hz and 1440p 120hz, is more responsiveness in 1440p.
I play primarily Sea of Thieves and World of Tanks, both 4k and HDR but apparently not VRR.
I welcome any suggestions on configs and opinion and preferences about this combination so we can maximize our amazing gaming experience.
Cheers,
SprungNickel
