My game had been working fine for over a month. I was so happy. Met some friends, was staying up late running some games, until one day after about a month my issue came back. Nothing on my end had changed that I know of asides from a Windows update around that time (which is unable to be uninstalled).
It's so frustrating. Enemy players just stutter around the map and their movement looks sped up, and lots of frametime spikes.
Game: Halo MCC
So depressing, I thought my problem went away!

This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Do packet loss tests. Speak to your ISP also, sometimes they put you on a shared IP address and they don't take you off unless you ask. Od always say rule out ISP first.
