The headset was previously sold only in China, where it gained substantial popularity.
I just checked the stats on Pico Neo 3, the China domestic VR standalone competitor to Quest 2...

57% VR marketshare in China!? Wow.

I don't know what its refresh rate capabilities are, but it's best to assume it does not support 60 Hz single strobe until proven otherwise. Many VR headsets are completely unconfigurable in refresh rate, so I would verify first.

However, it should single strobe at a different refresh rate at least (e.g. 90 Hz) which is fine for streaming PC gaming (ala Virtual Desktop style), even if not ideal for standard video content.

Seems like it doesn't support 60Hz at all. The only hope is that they were not previously present in western markets and I don't think many Chineese users were interested in retro as much as western gamers are. So they may have seen no feedback about it yet and we can only hope this may change one day.

There are some leaks/rumors today about the next VR headset from Facebook, the Cambria. Seems like despite the much higher price tag than Quest 2, it still lacks display input port. Unless the USB-C they use can work in completely different way than the USB port on Quest 2.

Any news on upcoming monitors? I just want a 27 inch, IPS and 60hz single strobe one. So far I think only the Eve Spectrums meet this criteria but they're so hard to find. It'd be cool to have a 27 inch version of the ViewSonic XG2431.

Just want to thank chief blur buster admin fella

Now I also have a question will I get a noticable improvement with the XG2431 for fighting games such as Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat 11 etc? those games are hard locked at 60 FPS. But if I enable single strobe 60HZ would that mean then my input lag would be much higher than running it at 144 FPS? but then If I did that it would duplicate images yeah?

Does quest pro offer the same strobing capabilities as quest 2? or no? I think it's locked to 90 hz (I own one but I am within my return window)

LG CX-Series 4K 120Hz G-SYNC OLEDs, 48", 55", 65"
The 48" and 55" models make amazing big-screen computer monitors at 1-meter viewing distance. Such bliss when running 60fps console games and/or emulator games. Configure "OLED Motion Pro" maximum setting. 60Hz single-strobe and 120Hz single-strobe options. LOWER your brightness a lot, to prevent 60Hz flicker headaches, CRT tubes were not this big in the old era.
Amazon: LG CX-Series OLED Televisions
Cons: Large screen than most CRTs, and a bit higher latency[/list]
Hey Chief! Very old post but any particular reason why you did not include the 77ā€ from the CX OLED sizes? Do you know if it has different BFI behavior?
