How much input delay does enabling Lightboost on a XL2420TE adds?
does decreasing the lenght of of the strobe flash increases input delay? like going with 10% i will have more input delay than with 50% or 100%?
i'm using ToastyX's Utility, is it the best for my monitor?

Re: Lightboost Delay!
There is no detectable difference on input lag between LightBoost 10% versus LightBoost 100%. All LightBoost settings adds an average of approximately half a frame delay (~3-4ms lag) in exchange for the improved motion clarity. The lag tradeoff depends on the type of games you play and gameplay styles -- blur-free can give you enough of an advantage to compensate for the lag. Turn it ON/OFF and see how you perform for specific fast-motion play styles, especially during situations that force you to track your eyes all over the screen.
The other issue though, is the lower persistence settings (10%) is darker which can slow human response.
So you want to make it bright enough, but also clear enough. A lot of people use LightBoost 50% as a compromise.

Thanks for the reply!
So the biggest change in input delay is just by enabling LB?
i have found that enabling LB has given me a bigger change than from going 60Hz to 120Hz, i was really skeptical..but,when you turn 180 degrees to kill a guy that is following you and during the fast turn you see another guy that is hiding on the side is what made me "wow"
