Philips BDM4065UC 4K Monitor + ULMB???

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Philips BDM4065UC 4K Monitor + ULMB???

Post by CYBER-NINJA » 15 Jul 2015, 19:57

Hi all -

My apologies for the noob question of the day, but I have recently purchased this monitor and have been wondering the following? Would it be possible to run Light Boost and/or ToastyX's CRU with this monitor?

Here are the specs:-

http://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/BDM4065UC_ ... ifications

And a very comprehensive review from TFT Central:-

Obviously the limitaions may be down to the conectivity, but I currently use DP 1.2 for a 60Hz refresh rate. My goal is to reduce motion blur and hopefully increase the refresh rate too. I can OC the screen with PrecisionX, but only to 63Hz. So would anyone have the answer or an insight if its at all possible please? If it does not wreck my screen I am willing to test it, so long as an expert says its compatible and there's a high chance of success? Please let me know your thoughts or if its a simply a no-go due to a non-compatibility issue.

Thanks :)
