I know that TN panels of the same nature can hit 120hz w/ lightboost. Is there a big difference between 120hz w/ lightboost? Is 144hz better than 100hz + lightboost?
Basically I'm not sure if I should even be considering it.. I play a lot of fast paced shooters and whatnot, but I absolutely hate TN panels and I've got a beast of computer (GTX 980, i7 4790k) so 1440p 27" is ideal for me.
Looking into an Acer XB270HU, but.. 100hz w/ lightboost?

The XB270HU from I believe April 2015 and forward have 120hz ULMB.
