Where do I change the refresh rate?

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Where do I change the refresh rate?

Post by Ahriman44 » 15 Aug 2015, 02:36

I have been using the strobelight app for a while now, but there was a large gap of time between when i started and now. It used to be that i could go into my hidden icons area, right click and choose from a drop down list what refresh rate i wanted (120hz, 110hz, or 100hz). After having installed the new app and refresh rates, it seems the only options i have are to turn strobing on or off. Where can i switch the different refresh rates?

That's something you do in the operating system. You can do it with the Nvidia Control Panel, AMD Catalyst Control Center and the monitor settings in Windows.
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K @ 4.9GHz
GPU: Gainward Phoenix 1080 GLH
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws Z 3866MHz CL19
Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming M5 Z270
Monitor: Asus PG278QR
