Hi, Done a search on the site but couldn't find definitive info regarding the latest revision of the XL2411T with "Flicker-Free", Does the Lightboost mod work on this revision?
Thanks
Mike

Yes, it does.Razor 116 wrote:Hi, Done a search on the site but couldn't find definitive info regarding the latest revision of the XL2411T with "Flicker-Free", Does the Lightboost mod work on this revision?
However, remember that strobe backlight modes (LightBoost) and ZeroFlicker is mutually exclusive. Fortunately, you can turn ON/OFF LightBoost quite easily. When you want zero flicker, turn off LightBoost. When you want zero motion blur, turn on LightBoost.
Unfortunately it's not yet currently possible with today's monitor technologies (not even OLED) to simultaneously have zero motion blur (at CRT/LightBoost levels, 1-2ms true persistence, not GtG measurement) and zero light modulation (flicker, strobing, phosphor, at least when viewed under high speed camera). That said, at 120Hz, the flicker is fortunately not objectionable to most people.
