Hello! Im trying to install StrobelightBoost! Problems

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Hi
Yes you can't use Strobelight on the XL2430T. The "exploit" that strobelight used to activate Lightboost on the *OLDER* Benq T series monitors (XL2411T, XL2420T, XL2420TE and XL2720T) was patched on the Z series monitors.

The Benq XL2430T is NOT a T series monitor.
It's actually a XL2430Z, badly named. Benq was planning a new range of monitors including a Gsync version of the XL2720Z as well as a non freesync 1440p version, but all of these monitors were canceled, except the XL2730Z. Benq was bringing back the "T" name to separate the Gsync/Freesync monitor versions from the non versions, as well as the "XL2430T" for the new stand and design.
it was really silly.

That's one reason why the XL2730Z is not called a XL2730T.

Also, Lightboost (3d vision 2) was removed from XL2430T (lightboost still exists on the XL2420Z and XL2720Z but requires Nvidia 3d vision drivers installed), however the "Lightboost" accelerated scanout Vertical total that we use for Benq blur reduction STILL works (the firmware bug was left there for us to exploit), e.g. VT 1500 tweaks still work.
