Did Lightboost works on all 120/144hz monitors?

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

No IPS 1920x1080 120/144hz monitors exist.
The only monitors that used lightboost were 1920x1080 120/144hz monitors that have the 3D vision 2 label, although there were at least a couple that were undocumented to support it but didn't have the label.

Even those higher resolutuion IPS 120hz/144? so the 3D vision label is a must i mean it must be nvidia or AMD HD3D?

I can buy used ASUS VG278HV for around 250 euro but i dont see any 3D label so i assume that lightboost wont work on this, other choice is ASUS VG248QE.

It's called nvidia 3d vision so it's nvidia's tech. Lightboost is a part of nvidia 3d vision tech. To use nvidia 3d vision you must have nvidia videocard and nvidia 3d vision compatible 3d glasses. There are ways to enable only LightBoost not only with nvidia videocards. Easiest way is http://www.monitortests.com/forum/Threa ... and-NVIDIA

There are better blur reduction techs like LightBoost but newer. BenQ Blur Reduction (BBR) for example. Cheapest monitor with BBR is BenQ XL2411Z. It's cheapest but performance same or better than other BenQ monitors. ULMB is another example.
VG278HV doesn't support nvidia 3d vision so LightBoost impossible.
VG248QE supports nvidia 3d vision so LightBoost possible.
At link above there are also list of LightBoost supported monitors.
