input lag in tf2?

Post by yah00o » 20 May 2016, 19:27

hey, ive just started messing with lightboost. i play mainly team fortress 2 and there seems to be a lot of input lag when i use lightboost in that game... also is it not possible to use lightboost while tf2 is running fullscreen?

Lightboost should cause less than 1 frame worth of lag, just waiting for the LCD to finish transitioning before pulsing the backlight. Being GPU limited or using v-sync without a framerate cap would add much more latency. It shouldn't have any conflict with full screen, though it would conflict with g-sync.

If you're using an external framerate limiter, disable it and use fps_max instead.

everytime i launch tf2 with lightboost on in fullscreen it just turns itself off.. i can see that looking at the 3d ligh indicator on my monitor.
