Enabling ULMB in Nvidia Control Panel (AOC G2460PG)

Post by kevindd992002 » 14 Jul 2016, 09:59

So I changed from using GSYNC to ULMB for CS:GO. I set this in the game-specific settings of the Nvidia control panel. The weird thing is that when I run the program, it only changes the freq from 144Hz to 120Hz but does not enable ULMB automatically. I still have to press the button on the screen itself for ULMB to trigger. What is the use of the Nvidia control panel then?

Control panel based ULMB works fine for me on the Benq XL2420G.

Check that you have DDC-CI set on in your OSD. If its off then software can't make the necessary changes at the hardware level.

Thats the only thing I can think of that might stop it working. Failing that, try a clean driver uninstall and reinstall.

I figured how to solve the problem already. The desktop refresh rate should also be 120Hz for ULMB to trigger when you run the program. It was set to 144Hz before thinking that it would just automatically switch to 120Hz when the program is ran but I guess not.

Is this the same in your case?
