confusion on the new BenQ XL2546
confusion on the new BenQ XL2546
XL2546 is basically XL2540 with dynamic accuracy, which is what BenQ refers MBR to. But XL2540 already has MBR as a feature in service menu. Not only this, but XL2540's luminance is 400cd/m2, while XL2546 is said to be only 320cd/m2 from what I've googled. Doesn't this mean that XL2546 is actually a straight downgrade from XL2540? Really confused here.

Re: confusion on the new BenQ XL2546
It might even use the same backlight and backlight drivers -- creating other explanations:
- Maybe it's the brightness of the default mode?
i.e. Lower light level during strobed mode than non-strobed mode.
- Maybe it's a refinement of manufacturer measurements?
i.e. Same brightness to eye, but specifications updated with actual measurements.
One will need to compare an XL2540 and XL2546 to answer this...

yeah, I guess I can never know unless a proper review comes out in the future.
