Any downsides to NVCP vsync on globally?

Talk about NVIDIA G-SYNC, a variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. G-SYNC eliminates stutters, tearing, and reduces input lag. List of G-SYNC Monitors.

Sorry I did try to search for a similar question first before making this thread. Is there any issue with or caveat to having NVCP vsync enabled globally?

It's fine. Forcing to OFF globally can result in tearing in some windowed apps, but forcing to ON should as far I know not cause any issues.
