Anyone have a good set up for this
Color, Contrast, Gamma etc etc I just got it in and did not want to spend hours setting it up if someone found the perfect setup.

Re: XB270HU
I just got mine this week. Thanks for this, I'll try em.
No dead pixels, some mild color differential off to the bottom left, but it's ok.
G-sync at 144hz at 1440p on an IPS is like a dream. So buttery smooth. Animation feels "solid" and "real"

Re: XB270HU
Just picked up my Acer 27" XB270HU and still get a lot of stuttering in games like Witcher 3 and GTA 5. I have a Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 Gaming graphics card and I have set up G-Sync correctly in the nvidia control panel. I had installed the latest nvidia drivers and also gone back to use previous versions but it has made no difference at all. Surely there has to be something I am doing wrong here. I am not seeing this 'BUTTER SMOOTH' performance that everyone is talking about. Help!

Some games are just poorly coded, Ubisoft springs to mind as an example.

Yea, some games are poorly optimized, but making sure nothing is running in the background closing background processes can help.AFTERMATH80 wrote:Help!

Re: XB270HU
Yeah I think your right. I tried it on a few different games and the monitor ran flawlessly smooth. I managed to get g sync working well on Witcher 3, I just had to change it from Windowed mode to Full Screen mode in the games options. But GTA V still experiences a lot of stuttering. According to the GTA V forums, it's just the game that is the issue no matter what video card or monitor you have.
I was lucky enough to receive my XB270HU with no dead pixels or noticeable white bleeding glow from the corners

Re: XB270HU
unless you setup Gsync properly it might just be running v-synced in windowed fullscreen and that's why it's running better but idk.AFTERMATH80 wrote:Windowed mode to Full Screen mode in the games options
Re: XB270HU
I am wondering if an owner of this monitor has a GTX 970. I would like to buy this monitor but I am not sure if this video card will able to fit 1440p. Have you seen big differences with a TN g sync panel like XL2420g?
