G-sync on Linux help. [Solved]

Post by lexlazootin » 31 Jul 2015, 23:37

Debian Stretch: Linux Lex-Pc 4.0.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.0.8-2 (2015-07-22) x86_64 GNU/Linux
Nvidia Driver: 352.30 (Latest) GTX 970

I'm getting great performance in CS:GO 300fps+ but i can't find a way to enable gsync. It's enabled in the driver also the "G-sync visual indicator" but nothing shows up when running cs-go. I wanted to try out the performance of cs:go linux and I swear to god nothing works out of the box when running linux.

Anyone that running linux that might be able to help? :)

Ok, i found by random how to fix it. Disable 'display compositing'.

I'll leave this here just in case someone needs it.
