To be fair, he promised it LATE august 2014. I expected it September. It's now november, and it's killing me.

HEADS UP.

RoG Swift is available for $749** and expected to be AVAILABLE TOMORROW from B&H photo. Pre-order available.*

On top of that, you get FREE expedited shipping.

They will fulfill these orders as they come in so grab this now! I made sure to share this availability with this forum first so go and get it!

*Edit: I had a "Pre-order" button when I visited this page, but now it is showing "Notify Me". Unless they only had a very small amount in, it might already be gone. However the availability still says tomorrow, so keep an eye out. Otherwise maybe because I've already purchased it I can't click "Pre-order" again.

**Edit: Price just went up to $799.

Shipping Cost To SPAIN

UPS Worldwide Saver
3-5 Business Days Delivery -> $199.80
Duties & Tax -> $236.40

Shit. If it cost here $749, that would be €599 instead of €800. I can't believe the sipping of a monitor can cost over $200. It must be rigged or something, because it suspiciously reaches the cost of the monitor here.
Worse salaries and higher hardware prices. Good job, ASUS/Nvidia/Intel/every-company-out-there/etc.

Duties and taxes are unavoidable short of breaking the law. Tough cookies, I'm afraid

Hey, actually it's €689 here, in this spanish shop:
http://www.pccomponentes.com/asus_rog_s ... 144hz.html

It was €799 a few days ago. Aaaaand I don't have the money right now :( . In a pair of months, I should have some money back that I lent.

Got my PG278Q yesterday. I must say it does not "wow" me as much as i'd hoped for. I had the XL2420T (Rev 1) before and except for the additional space there is not that much difference felt.
What disappoints me is:
- I see some flickering in g-sync mode. Yes, in loading-screens but also ingame with framerates around 50
- Also, i was expecting a much smoother experience in the 40-50 fps-range. I havent compared it to v-synced 40-50 fps yet, but it does not feel enjoyable.
- The testufo-test shows me a relativly smooth ufo, but every couple of seconds i get a stutter where alle the ufos blur for a moment and "double image" (like the vibration of a guitar-string).

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Perhaps the flickering will disappear in time, when the electronics have come to peace.

It started happening to me lately (I have a BenQ XL2411Z) in Google Chrome, but not in Forefox. It's a browser problem.
