Create homebrew 120Hz display with Toshiba 120Hz laptop LCD

Post by Chief Blur Buster » 28 Apr 2014, 10:33

I wonder if the Toshiba Qosimo laptop 120Hz replacement LCD (Amazon, $117) has a standard miniDP ribbon that could be adaptored to run directly off. There are some people here who have connected bare LCD panels (e.g. iPad replacement LCD panels connected to computer) via creating a DisplayPort wiring adaptor for the panel ribbon conenctor.
