Hi. I've got benq xl2411z. I got a couple of question to you guys
1. I playing fps games (coutner strike global offensive) and what's the best options in benq settings to get the most advantage ? The best quality and smooth etc? How to see people "faster".
Best ama setting? Insant mode off/on? etc ? Can you help me?
2. What is better, 144hz or 120hz with VT1350 trick?
and if 120hz with vt1350 is better than 144hz, now vt1350 is better or vt1502? ;p
And when i using 1502vt trick @ 1920x1080 and playing game with 800x600 its still working or i must create custom resolution 800x600 with 1502vt? Cause when i create 800x600 with 1502vt trick i've got full of artifacts :p
And when i use vt1502 trick at 1024x768 it works, i've got that what i need, full smooth nice quality etc. But i've got message "Incorrect cable, please use dvi dual link" but monitor still works (but i can't go to menu :p) i use dvi dual link ofc ;D
Waiting for response.
And when i opened service menu i've got this http://prntscr.com/44pa7e
but without a "Strobe duty", "Strobe phase" and "Single strobe" options.
Need help :p.
BenQ xl2411z questions :)
Re: BenQ xl2411z questions :)
144Hz + PWM-free or 120Hz + Benq Blur Reduction + vt trick. IMO 144Hz is the best, because my eyes feel better.
AMA High.
You can't use vt trick on 800x600, only 1920x1080.

Re: BenQ xl2411z questions :)
You need to upgrade the monitor firmware to v2. You probably have v1, and you won't have those options in the v1 service menu.
About the incorrect cable:
If you used 1024x768 as a custom resolution in CRU.exe, its a known problem with lower 'detailed/standard resolutions', which cause the monitor to treat them like a 'preset' windows resolution. The VG248QE does the exact same thing and will have the same 'artifacts' appear; example, 1024x768@120hz as a preset will cause the incorrect cable error and I think 1024x768@100 hz will show a line artifact on the right edge. This happens on both the VG248QE and the benq so it MAY be a problem in CRU or with the panel circuitry itself (since they are both made by the same manufacturer).
1280x1024@100 does the same error msg.

Okay, now he said 144hz + pwm-free ye, can i on/off or change setting of PWM ?
Re: BenQ xl2411z questions :)
kamill told me "144hz + pwm-free" how to set that pwm-free?
Re: BenQ xl2411z questions :)
PWM-Free is automaticaly On, so You don't have to do anything, just turn off Blur Reduction
