SAMSUNG Ue40D6500 with Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5470

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

SAMSUNG Ue40D6500 with Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5470

Hi

Sorry for my english i hope you will understand.

I try to do 120Hz on this tv using ToastyX, i try to connect by VGA cable but tv returns message that this resolution is unsupported, i also change to 85Hz on 1920x1080 but not effects, next to set resolution on 1024x768 with 120/85Hz still doesnt work, anyway i dont know what parameters to use with smaller resolution than full hd from link below:
http://www.blurbusters.com/wp-content/u ... astyx.jpeg

connection via HDMI cable (im sure that is 1,3v not 3d 4k ready hdmi cable) without results, still got message that resolution is unsupported.

Could somebody give me parameters to ToastyX with smaller resolution than fullHD ? or can i use parameters from this link above and only change resolution?
What i shoulbe to do? buy 3d 4k cable? or my graphic card dont support 120Hz mode?

Thanks for help

Unfortunately, it is possible that UE40D6500 will not be able to support 120Hz from any external signal.
(e.g. it only supports 120Hz internally for interpolation).

However, as a last resort, try 1280x720 at exactly 120Hz. This resolution has a much higher success rate. (If it fails, try Manual, and use a Vertical Total of 750 with 720p). See HDTV Refresh Rate HOWTO: True 120Hz from PC to TV.
