Samsung 2013/14 line 1080p/120hz overclocking [Samsung HDTV]

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

There are ONLY two displays that I know of that are 40" or larger that can take a 1080p120 signal from a computer.

#1: Seiki 50"
#2: PPI/MicroSoft 55" -- ten touch "Big Ass Touch Screen."

That's *IT* right now unless someone can tell me another one!

39" < 40" LOL.

Seriously, though, it's amazing that this is a first in this size. Even more amazing how it was accomplished!

There are several models that anecdotally manage to do 1080p @ 120Hz -- check the comments section:

No guarantees, however!

Really, what model numbers? Can you quote specific information supporting your claim. I know of none.

Thanks for compiling this list, Mark. I do wish there was a Samsung in this list, of course.

You know, Panasonic was presenting a demonstration of a set that had no motion blur at CES last year (backlight strobe). I don't know if anybody noticed, but I did. I'm surprised not to hear about it on the market by now.
