Damn, just found this RIDICULOUS PC

Take my money now $$$
Of course, I'd probably build it myself but I can't even afford the raw parts in that machine.
Holy crap, 5960x at 4.4Ghz, 64 gigs of ram and quad Titan

That 64GB of RAM sure looks useful for games...

You could obviously use it for more than just gaming (and probably should with 8 cores)...
Also, like he said, a 40 gig ramdisk could be a nice use of the ram but I personally don't like playing around with ramdisks. I'd keep it 'as is' and throw in an ASUS Rog Swift 27"

Yeah, RAM disks are not really that useful actually. With 64GB RAM, the game is going to be cached to RAM anyway as you play it. This is already the case for me, and I "only" have 16GB. Pretty much everything in any game is only accessed once from disk. After that, there's no disk I/O happening; everything comes from the Windows cache that's in RAM.

$8500... I wonder how much cheaper it would be to build it yourself. Probably half or so?

Hehe, nice one pinotot. Back in the 90s, computers sure seemed more expensive. Our home pc in 94 cost a full 3 grand, if memory serves correct. Can't even remember if discrete video cards even existed back then. I do remember the horrible dot matrix printer, however. Plus the (non-gaming) CRT, and the fact that it only had 4mb of RAM and so wouldn't load up Doom from MS-DOS without some kind of hack.
20+ years later and we have such crazy things as quad Titans, variable refresh rates, VR and so on...kewl
