List of upcoming freesync monitors
Did AMD actually "promise" anything by the end of Q1? Or is this just the usual WCCFTech nonsense where they write any old rubbish and half the world takes it at face value?
Edit: I did find this, but it says that the company planning (not promising) to launch (not necessarily release) some FS monitors in March, is SAMSUNG (not AMD): http://www.amd.com/en-us/press-releases ... nov20.aspx

I'm very interested in the BenQ 27" monitor. I've been wanting to go QHD for a while now but wanted to wait for some frame sync tech first. I've looked and looked. Any rumors on pricing? Any educated guesses as to what I should expect?

I would look towards the ASUS Swift 27" pricing-wise. Maybe a couple hundred cheaper, but until we see more 27" FreeSync monitors, I'm not sure whether BenQ will have any reason to want to lower the price much more.UnrulyCactus wrote:I'm very interested in the BenQ 27" monitor. Rumer is:
Both ASUS MG279Q and Benq XL2730Z are going to be released this month.
Both are WQHD, have over 120HZ refresh, and support VESA's version of Adaptive Sync.
XL2730Z will be in stock in the UK starting tomorrow march 5th.
Regardless of release I personally will wait for a tft central review to measure Lag Classification and Backlight Dimming and Flicker.
