You asked this in the wrong section. Please use the Benq or General Display section next time. This section is for forum topics/news/help/suggestions, etc.

The input lag is significantly better on the Benq.
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/benq_xl2720z.htm.

And no monitor has a 1 ms response time. "1ms" is for grey to grey transition with one grey shade next to another grey shade at the TOP of the screen, and only at "Overdrive/AMA=premium" which is too high overdrive.

The XL2411Z should follow the same totals as the XL2720Z, since the scaler and features are the same, so you can safely use that chart. The pixel response time is slightly slower on the XL2720Z, but this doesn't affect input lag at all (you can tell by comparing an XL2411Z to an XL2720Z in Nvidia Lightboost mode; the XL2411Z shows very low levels of ghosting with only minor inverse artifacts at the bottom of the screen (remember the response time and lag is highest at the bottom) and virtually none at the top, and while the XL2720Z looks almost the same *IF* you lower the contrast ratio to match the XL2411Z at contrast 37 in lightboost (this requires setting contrast to 0 on the XL2720Z), you will notice trailing artifacts that you wont on the XL2411Z. (both look the same with benq blur reduction).

http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/eizo_fg2421.htm

If both are operating with strobing off, The Benq should have 1 frame of lower input lag.
If blur reduction is on, if you set Strobe phase to 100 (instead of strobe phase 0), the Benq's input lag will be exactly one frame faster (lower lag) than the EIzo. A strobe phase=000 has exactly 1 frame higher input lag than strobe phase 100 (if using a VT tweak, the 100 max becomes a lower max value).
