Hi, I recently purchased a new Benq Zowie XL2411 but the Strobe Utility keeps telling me "No Compatible Benq Monitors have been detected"
Any help is appreciated, thanks

Strobe utility doesn't support monitors with new firmware code. But firmware is the exact same as XL2411Z V004. But Zowie updates this to V005. Please use service menu to make strobe changes. Besides, service menu is more powerful. You can use strobe adjustments with Single Strobe=OFF at 100hz+ refresh rate. Single Strobe On is only required for refresh rates lower than 98 hz. You can also use Strobe Phase =100 if you are *NOT* using Vertical Total tweaks. If you are using VT tweaks, maximum strobe phase will be limited to 100 (60hz), 59 (100hz), 49 (120hz), 46 (125hz), 70 (85hz, VT 1501 only).

Some problem here and my old monitor XL2411z has V004-20141205 firmware. I used Blur Buster Strobe Utility before, but now my monitor is not recognized. I think the problem is related to the drivers incompatibility (Zowie).

btw I guess modified monitor ID at EDID can make Strobe Utility work with new Zowies. It's software only method. Anyone tried it?

I started from this guide that seems outdated:
https://m.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/com ... mpact=true
When i arrive to this utility it gives the "Firmware Unsupported" error as you confirm in your post.
I have this monitor and I understand to be very ignorant. Any help to be able to properly calibrate it for fps gaming would be appreciated.
